With Beyond Light, Destiny 2 can still get cyclical and repetitious, but its new abilities and improved storytelling make it feel much more alive.

  1. destiny has such a cool world, lore and stories. unfortunately its completely ruined by the horrible clusterfuck of a grind. i hope bungie will make an actual story based shooter or a single player rpg in this universe one day.

  2. Bungie lost there way to be honest ! I was D1 veteran on PS4! Each new DLC was insane and engaging ! Crota falls, Vault of Glass and Kings Fall was insanely fun and the raid were just amazing. I’ll wait till bungie comes back on track !

  3. The PvE is fine, they need to focus on PvP and bring players in there. Every shot is instant death (makes gear irrelevent) and Stasis made matters worse. A health buff or battle buff of -50% damage taken would work as a quick fix until they manage to balance new skills like Stasis.

  4. Fuck Uldren, wake me up when they bring back Cayde.

Also this game has the worst gear treadmill of anything I've ever played. You spend all this time trying to get better gear with bigger numbers on it but the whole world scales with you so you absolutely NEVER feel stronger than you did before. Its fucking stupid.

  5. People bought that removed content though. Every once in a while I liked not doing all the repetitive crap and taking a new char through from the beginning including the first sets of DLC. Now no longer an option so since Beyond Light is yet another purchase subject to the same possibility of being taken away after a few years I'll just consider the whole thing not an option and quit the game whilst I'm behind.
