If you play Xbox you could play the paid DLC Forsaken and Shadowkeep if you have Gamepass in september. Oh and once again three of the campaigns and 4 planets leave coming Beyond Lights release. Also Beyond Light will be on game pass if your on xbox

You honestly don’t really need to worry about being bad, especially if you’ve played Halo, as it’s a generally easier game. The vast majority of this game is honestly really easy to play. There’s a ton of aim assist on almost every weapon type, and the campaigns are all really easy unless you’re behind on leveling (and it usually doesn’t take that long to level up to the recommended campaign levels). In addition most of the PVP is a pretty fast-paced, un-competitive, lighthearted, bombastic game that you don’t really need to take seriously, so you don’t particularly need to worry about being trash there either. The only stuff that is really actually hard or competitive, like trials, nightfalls, raids, and dungeons, if you want to do that stuff, pretty much require pre-made teams of people so you can just squad up with some good players and let them carry you lol.
Also, “halo but with magic” is a perfect summarization of this game.

I played Destiny 1 since day 1 and even then it was rough with very little content and horrible balancing but I powered through. Bungie are still amazing artists but they don't know how to make a game like Destiny fair and balanced for everyone. I quit Destiny a year ago because the DLC is overpriced, all the cool stuff you have to pay for, the community is really elitist and there's a lot of hacking. Bungie is literally removing my favorite planet (half of why I bought the game) so don't get attached to ANYTHING in this game because it's all limited time and it sucks. PvP is terrible because to get the best weapons for PvP you already have to be amazing at it and sink your life into it. If you don't think you have time to get into it, you won't, Destiny demands your life if you wanna get everything that isn't behind a pay wall.
You should check out the previous trailers of the game they are really good and they tell you a lot of this world,and I advise you to wait until the dlc come out because Bungie is not very good lately with content in this game,sadly,because the game have a lot of potential.Nice reaction 👍🏽
