  1. I don’t necessarily understand the desire for vendor refresh. Vendor armor has never been good and I don’t want my weapons to always have the vendor themes. I much prefer the new armor and weapon sets coming from the pass and seasonal activity because they’re themed and have different looks.

  2. Yearly lmfao this game is my comedy now I stopped playing and I'm glad. Armour and weapons should be refreshed every 2-3 months min not 12. The fact transmog does not come with Beyond light is also a joke. Saying lack of man power with no Activision ok but the game was garbage even with Activision from content standpoint

  3. Is beyond light even worth its price?.. I mean forsaken was a good size but still quick on completion. If beyond light is way smaller then paying the price its at now seems wrong for a small story addon that will be completed in less that a few hours or so

  4. No it's not hard because they always had a set ready for Eververse and the season pass. This season they took it out of Eververse and put it into the dungeon but that's because it was already made but I bet they'll just not make it from now on giving us less armor overall. They could have added 3 new strikes like Forsaken(4 on PS4) and given all new nightfall loot if there's no vendor refresh. We gotta have a reason to play strikes other than mats. As for pvp with no refresh there will be litterly ZERO reason to play and there's a giant group of ppl that really only play pvp and they're getting nothing but some lackluster shared armor. Most of those vendor weapons are getting sunset so they've gotta do SOMETHING but just reissuing the exact same weapons will cause an uproar. They promised last spring they wouldn't bring back weapons with the same perks then they did exactally that this season BEFORE the old ones were even sunset. That can't continue esp since they specifically told us they wouldn't. If the vendor weapons are the same but with new perk rolls at least that's something. It's more clear than ever that losing Activision has really hurt them and may have been for the worse. And more than Activision it is the loss of Vicarious Visions and High Noon that is the problem. That combined with going f2p meaning they have to focus more on Eververse and not as much on the "free" activities like pvp, strikes and gambit has screwed over the paying customers. We've supported them from the beginning and are paying for the game. We paid for those activities from the start with the belief they would be regularly updated and we're still paying for the game now and expect those things to be focused on. It's bs that they took parts of the game a lot of us loved and made them free so they can claim we're not paying for that so it can be ignored. We WANT to pay for pvp and other core activities and it's bs we gotta share it with the freeloaders who are holding the game back. I wish D3 had just released that cost a full $60, or $70 next gen, like it was supposed to because we would have a full game's worth of content to play with, something it looks like we'll never get again. Hell we'll probably never get a Forsaken or Taken King sized expansion again.

  5. I commented on it in your live stream the other day, but I would love a taken style darkness subclass. Ever since Destiny's taken style armor I've wanted this.
Love your content, one of the few content creators that seems to have passion and questions bungie with respect. Keep it up man!

  6. So basically it’s “ we can’t make enough stuff for you to grind for so we will just sunset everything annually to make you get new things that aren’t new.” I’m pretty sure the other argument was “we can make cool stuff and not nerf it cause it will get sunset anyway” and Guillotine is getting smacked down as per usual. Why were people for sunsetting again?

  7. I love you but you talk really slow so I will be watching your vids on 1.25. I get it’s only 8 minutes but I feel like I was getting bored half way through the vid. Still appreciate your contribution to destiny 2

  8. I wish activision didnt let destiny go. If were gonna get the mtx(eververse/season pass) anyway may as well have the big AAA activision budget. Bungie is just an activision-indie-lite.

  9. Amazing as always Lono! I know I can visit the websites now which is great but personally, truly, I actually really miss your videos flooding my feed! I always clicked and watched and always lined up your content with all the other vids I wanted to watch.

  10. There seems to be a lot of you commenting that are twisting Luke Smith’s words.

Beyond Light being smaller than Forsaken doesn’t mean it’s small. You all need to understand that you were spoiled during year 2 of Destiny 2. Bungie had the assistance of an entire second studio working on Forsaken with them. The man power behind the development year 2 content was tripled, which is why we got so much that year.

Bungie is no longer backed by Activision or Vicarious Visions/High Moon. They don’t have that kind of manpower anymore and there’s absolutely no reason why anyone should be expecting an expansion of Forsaken’s size for the foreseeable future.

  11. Y’all aren’t noticing that Bungie is giving Destiny 2 making major game mechanic changes. The quality of BL will far surpass that of the quantity. There is arguably just as much “content” considering all of these systematic changes to mobs, transmog, bounty changes in the future, etc. They’re not just adding content, they’re literally changing the core mechanic of the game for the better. It’s not just the DLC of this, it’s the entirety of the game in itself. Im telling y’all that this is DLC will have far better quality and story telling over the quantity of Forsaken (aside from last wish raid.)

  12. let's be honest, forsaken was so so big because destiny 2 at the start was awful and that's why they make it so big, it's not because nothing it's because the the game was in emergency and that's the only reason bungie make forsaken super big and they said there is gonna be NO more expansions in the exact size of forsaken
