The best path for the Chalice upgrades are Power and Efficiency 2 followed by the Rune upgrades. Once you have all the Runes upgraded, you will be able to get every single weapon from the Menagerie.
Puny Purse of Imperials = 100 Imperials
Lavish Purse of Imperials = 500
Imperials from playlist activity = 500 imperials.
MAYHEM CLASH IS THE BEST PLAYLIST! This game mode is super fast, and you will be able to get tons of Imperials. Make sure to activate a Runefinder, and you will stock up on Runes as well. As soon as you have enough for Rune 2 + 3, unlock those, so that you can earn those Runes as well.

Are you sure Izanagi’s will still be acquirable after beyond light, leviathan (lens quest step) is getting removed as well as Io (pyramidion quest step)

All those weapons and catalysts will be availiable after the new dlc release, they confirmed it, they just gonna change the way to get them, probably they will put them in the exotic engrams pool
