  1. Bungie don’t listen to these guys stasis has made pvp fun! Stop the nerfs & just make more counters. Also leave the warlock supers alone they’re fine no problem at all

  2. this expansion is a joke, and bungo defenders are out in droves. There's no excuse for this crap anymore. You people who keep supporting this garbage development cycle, with little to no improvements, more cons than pros really, are hurting the game more than helping. I'll remember bungie for the amazing game that was halo, Destiny has made me lose all faith in bungie. RIP bungie 2000-2008

  3. I like how they built up the darkness for years now, then it turns up and our guardian is like gimme that shit. We're like this person that got in contact with bad friends (Eris, Exo Stranger and Drifter) and they got us addicted to drugs while the rest of our family and friends are like wtf are you doing?!

  5. Pvp players are just complaining cause its a new thing to complain about. We already have 1 super for hunter on tethering. Cancels supers and slows and makes u aim up. Then we have the titan and his grenade that blinds and cancels a super. So just because its a super that dose different things from the light side, stop you bitchin and figure a way around the new super. Suck it up butter cup

  6. Played a little crucible nothing feels different to me still due to bullshit not a lot of stasis can only imagine the sweatier the player the worse it is and by them adjusting it in pvp will completely ruin it in pve it’s written lore by this point

  7. Bungie has the numbers. They know how many people play all of the games modes. They also know (more importantly than total numbers) how many paying players play the different modes. Maybe PVP is not as popular as Youtubers think. Maybe Bungie put the money where the most players are playing.

  8. So I seem to be one of the few people who think stasis is fine in pvp. After about 15 hours in pvp and 5 in gambit now in BL. I feel a lot of criticisms are weird.

A grenade that can take you out of your super? Suppression nades have been around forever? I do think there are few strange interactions that could be ironed out.
Stasis abilities are one hit kills? Almost (still need to follow up which takes a bunch of time). But like snipers, shotguns, and fusions exist? This is destiny? A sticky gernade and a shot from like any weapon will kill you it's not so different IMO.
Stasis punishes people out of cover and not playing with their team. If someone is frozen you can use your own gernade to put up a wall and save them. You can drop a rift or shield on them, or just you know, be a good teammate and shoot the person.
Warlock melee is pretty slow. If it's more than sidearm range it's pretty easy to dodge.
Like it's just super funny. There's no way they didn't test. They've had these classes for months but it's been < 1 week for us and the destiny community always screams about every new thing being OP. I'm already discovering lots of ways to outplay stasis. The seeking grenade trails? You can shoot them pretty easily. The walls? They come up pretty slow so you need to just jump or slide. The warlock melee is is also just a quick jump from being useless (like jotunn). I think the warlock super is a bit strong (e.g. through walls) but is otherwise fine. Seeking projectiles that kill you? Have you fought a dawnblade? They don't even have to use a second ability you're just dead.
Like stasis is just a very different and new thing for destiny. It's completely changed things up. You can't just sniper and shotgun ape the entire match. You have to be more careful with your super. Being out in the open or in a bad position will be punished.
And the other supers are totally still competitive. Blade barrage is better than squall and storm IMO. Goldie still maps you with insane auto aim. I still get killed twice by the same striker super. Stasis is more customizable and interesting. The old subclasses are still good, just boring compared to stasis and bungie has said they're looking for feedback and if stasis customization is good they will look to reworking light classes similarly. They've been relatively the same for 3 years. New and shiny is shiny.

I think freeze could be a bit shorter and warlock super right click to be changed…that's about it.

I know I'm in the minority and everyone will probably rage at me in the comments but like it's destiny pvp. I'm still getting one shot by mountaintop and mindbenders and revoker, which feels worse to me. I think stasis is fine. I guess if everyone wants it changed, fine, but this is so gut reactionary. </rant>

  9. There isn't no "competitive" pvp in Destiny. Stasis can stay in pvp, it didn't bother me. Did i get annoyed by it? Yup, but I had fun too, and saw some funny shit. That's all that matters in the end. Don't like it? CS:GO is still a thing…

  10. We are what? two, at most three, days into this DLC at time of this video dropping. Congratulations Travis you’re the yahoo who comes out with the “nothing to do” whinge first @35:19 (albeit with the caveat “today”) You said earlier “I’ve put something like 50 hours into it so far” ffs the game was only out 72. Honestly that nonsense just really makes me despair.
