What if one of the main characters becomes entirely corrupted by the darkness, and ultimately we have to kill them because they can't go back to the light and are simply just too consumed by it and they decide to go rogue and turn on the guardians?…
This hints at a possible death happening. So far the only characters after cayde that I liked are mithrax, variks, eris, the drifter, the exo stranger and our ghost. If any of them die I'm gonna lose my shit
Keep in mind that Destiny can now be whatever Bungie wants it to be. Under Activision, basically every move Bungie did was controlled and they were just puppets controlled by them. With Shadowkeep you could tell that campaign and the other stuff had been made partly through their lifespan with activision. but now, they are out of activision's control and this campaign was made completely by bungie. and if you've played Halo, you know what Bungie can do when they control the game they make. So I'm betting this is the best expansion yet, by far.

I looked back at my first Leviathan clear and checked the records of the others I had beaten it with. At least two look to be still active, one flopped at the LL 900's and the others looked like they just gave up before Curse of Osiris even launched.
