  1. A moment of reflection from a Hunter, “ I enter the cosmodrome for the first time since the restrictions by the vanguard have been lifted, it’s been nearly 4 years since I set foot in this place, these lands were once traversed by Guardians new and old and house Devils maintained control of these lands, no longer the banner of Devils but now Dusk. I sit here in the Mothyards atop an old Golden Age cargo jet and reflect on guardians of past, friends who have gone, love that has died. 6 years ago I was resurrected by my Ghost in the Breach. I remember my first love, a Hunter Awoken, her name was Nira Vess, we had many adventures together, we took down Atheon together, conquered a Hive god not once, but twice when Oryx came to Saturn’s rings. And lastly we took control of the SIVA that would plague the cosmodrome. When the Cabal came with the Red Legion forces and took over our Traveler, I lost my light, my Ghost, and hope. We all fought bravely and beat the red legion together her and I, but things changed, we started to fall away from one another. When the Scorn broke out of the Prison of Elders and wreaked havoc on the Tangled Shore and Dreaming City I lost Nira for good, she was lost forever. I still remember our adventures and now as I sit here overlooking what is left of this cosmodrome I’m reminded of those friends of past adventures and a love now lost, I must continue on, and maybe one day, a new start will arise. “ – Unknown Hunter log # 12

  2. I'm I just the only one getting the feeling this would be the music showcasing all of our adventures with our guardian and ghost right after we die or after our guardian's funeral

  3. *SPOILERS FOR BEYOND LIGHT*

For some reason this just really makes me think of the journey our Ghost and Guardian have taken. From being revived to the Cosmodrome all the way to now, and everything in between. Ghost is so worried for us, so scared for us, because we're using the Darkness. And he doesn't support it, either. But you know what? He supports us. He's still with us, because we're partners. We always have been. He wasn't even angry with us – just terrified, because if something happened, he wouldn't be able to help. That's so painfully obvious in the final fight with Eramis – when our Guardian gets frozen, they call out to Ghost, and he's so pained to say he can't do anything. This was exactly what he was worried about.

Anyway, I think I'm gonna start a little side project of some of Ghost's best moments with this in the background, just so I get to cry over it 😉

  4. “As we Walk into these halls, a few of you may find yourselves, and the life you once led. Just remember, no matter what you’ve lost, we will always be here” – the fireteam leader of the first raid of the dsc

  5. Spoilers ahead:

After learning that Banshee-44 is (or was) actually the Clovis bray exo, formerly known as Clovis-1, this music makes so much sense. I can imagine it playing when Clovis-43 and elsie finally shut down the vex gate, and they just deactivated the Clovis bray AI. For the first time in a while, all is quiet. They finished the mission. Now, all he wants to do is start a mew life under a new name.

“That nickname the other Exos gave me…add it to my imprint? With my number?”
She laughs. It’s good to hear it one more time. “You really like it, don’t you?”
    “It’s growing on me.”
    “Okay then, Banshee.”
I step into the pod. Doors close. I give her a little wave.
Let’s see what 44 had in store.

  6. I love how this one is so peaceful. It's the age of the Darkness, things are looking maybe not so great for Humanity in the destiny universe right now, but this song is almost like a sort of reminder of all the good things we still have. Anyone else get this sort of feeling from this track, or am I just crazy?
