Destiny 2 Beyond Light Get Hawkmoon Approach Shard of Traveler. Part of the get the exotic Hawkmoon hand cannon quest. This is near the final part to finally get the hand cannon. Need to get to the Taken Barrier, which is the ball of darkness. Then dispel the taken barrier to find the shard of the Traveler.
Approach the Shard of Traveler to get the first Hawkmoon. Note that the first Hawkmoon random roll will not be activated. But subsequent Hawkmoons will result in random mod, resulting in a chance to get a Godroll Hawkmoon hand cannon.
Title screen shows the Rat King, the current favorite sidearms of the hero when used in one versus many and a super boss situation.
