UPDATE – for anyone on xbox who owns game pass, all 3 versions of beyond light are on sale for game pass owners, it's not much of a difference. only 10% off.

as a pvp player what would you recommend?
For people on gamepass, you already get the $40 expansion included with gamepass so it is not really worth it to buy any option listed here unless you really want the pre order bonus
What I would recommend is to download the expansion through gamepass, go into the game and to the season tab, there you can purchase the season for $10
Doing this will cost you $40 for the expansion and 4 seasons instead of $70
If you use cross play, you want to purchase the deluxe edition on the non Xbox console, that will give you full access to the expansion and season pass for both systems
Sucks we have to pay $30 extra if we want the preorder bonus but I'm not going to complain too much, still just happy they brought it to gamepass
