The Exo Stranger explains how, in her original timeline, the “Dark Future”, Ana Bray went on to wield and become corrupted by the Darkness. This forced the Exo Stranger (aka Elsie Bray) to kill her little sister, Anastasia Bray…
This dialogue comes from the “Born in Darkness Part 2” quest line.

This expansion lore is sounding like a fan fiction

So here something I am trying to wrap my brain around what happen to Elizabeth aka Exo stranger in our timeline, cause I mean most of the outcomes that happen in her world are alot different from the one now. Like Ana and clovis both on the side of the light now. But what happen to her in this timeline?

If Darkness is what turned Ana evil in Exo Stranger's original timeline then why the heck are Guardians still using Darkness if that's the same entity that turned Ana evil
