In this video we’ll be taking a look a the Coldheart exotic trace rifle in Destiny 2, Beyond Light. I’ll break down the weapons stats and perks, look it’s damage and functionality, and analyze it performance in both the PvE and PvP sides of Destiny 2, to see how it’s holding up in the current sandbox.

Can you do divinity review?
Hey can you do a review of izanagis burden?
The only trace rifle that has overload or any exotic in general is divinity but I rather avoid GoS… maybe that’s what you confused it with?
When stasis exists but the weapon whose gimmick is literally being cold doesn’t get moved to stasis
Yay i loved coldheart when it came out… getting calus vibes
I think some trace rifles that have been underperforming should be moved back to the primary slot, especially ones that are used like a primary weapon when they're equipped. Prometheus lens is just plain more fun when you actually have ammo for it, idc how much damage it does
You may have to take another look at Duality once it gets buffed next season
This weapon needs to be reworked into a Stasis trace rifle. Thematically it doesn’t really make sense for it to be an arc rifle anymore.
Bungie was way too hard on ruinous effigy. I genuinely loved using it for everything last season for every activity. I know we're talking about cold heart, but still..
I wonder if we will ever see coldheart become a stasis trace rifle
MnK users: Bungie has broken gunplay now
Controller users: 'sips coffee' Welcome, first time
Coldheart. Codename: Ice Lightning
(why does it still do arc damage?)
Nice review! Trace rifles are really fun even if they underperform, I really hope they eventually get moved to primary ammo like someone else in the comments suggested. Pretty unrelated to the video, but when I saw the weapon trailer for Forsaken and they showed 1k voices, I thought it was a trace rifle with a timed payload… I was sorely disappointed. An explosive trace rifle sounds badass!
Coldheart and the others used to have a really good niche by being counted as a fusion rifle for leviathan lair modifiers. 😛 Another great review you pretty much covered all of how I feel about the poor things bungie give trace rifles a little bit of love pls.
I am rather ashamed to admit that I have yet to get divinity, BUT coldheart was fun when I first got it
Trace Rifles are fun weapons, but I can't seem to find a way to fit them or Fusion Rifles into my builds on any of my Guardians. It sucks because I used to run Prometheus Lens like crazy, and frying adds was great!
Coldheart is nice, but it's lacking. Maybe buffing the damage boost would bring it in line with the other PvE weapons?
Congrats on 7k subs 👌
I love your content man keep it up and give on out for cold hart as bungie froze it in time
So many weapons that just don't have a real great use right now. Traces, Linears, fusions, rockets, etc.
Would be nice if Bungie would go through each type and surgically buff them.
Great video again though!! 👍👍
I had a guy use coldheart for Taniks. He had Anarchy, but he decided to use coldheart instead.
I don’t think I’ve used cold heart or really any trace rifle since I got divinity, I just wish they were a little more powerful tbh, they are a very cool type of weapon though
Anyone else feel like the coldheart should maybe be shifted to stasis damage?
Is really fun to use in PvP but everyone is using Steady Hand and two taping left and right.
I just want at least one Legendary Trace rifle man, that or one that's a Primary weapon like how they use to be
Bungie just doesn't care about trace rifles or linear fusionrifles. It's really annoying because they're really original
lmao i use coldheart instead of divinity in raid and always gets kicked out
We should have a quest to make Cold Heart a stasis trace rifle
