  1. overhyped dlc. it is pretty good, but I'm sad that the old raids are gone for now. also why does eremis literally die within the first 3hrs it is so lame. I wish she was a threat for like the whole season, but I guess not 🙁

  2. Weird I really enjoyed the strike, I'm sick and tired of just running 5 minute strikes where i melt the boss in seconds. So i really enjoy the new strikes. I do wish they were more engaging and less linear though.

Overall I hope there is more from this DLC cause I know a lot of the upcoming stuff we know about is season of the Hunt, and i dont want another dlc carried by its season. But yeah idk if my fiend like behaviour will come about with this, maybe i'm blinded by stasis, its was great at first, but its way more chill now

  3. Nobody has the guts to speak truth about their fav. Games. Thank you for having integrity and intelligence. Also. Fukk the spineless masses who cannot abide criticism until Fallout or Cuckis say it…

  4. Honestly I’ve really enjoyed this DLC. The story, the environmental design of Europa, the music and the voice acting is great. The warlock stasis abilities might be bit overpowered, but I do find the new supers really fun. It’s a shame that there isn’t that many new weapons/armor but we are going to have to wait until, the raid and season of the hunt. I can see why people have mixed reviews but it’s a bit too early to tell since there’s still much more content coming very soon

  5. I have to agree with you on the it’s more of just the same, I don’t understand why you got shit on for the other first impression on the DLC. I have been a hardcore D1 player and when I saw The trailer for beyond light, that usual spark wasn’t there because all I saw was the same old recycled content except for the new Stasis abilities they nailed it on that one. First of all you play the game you and you fight the same old fallen from vanilla destiny just different names and a little different look the same vex same taken, what’s the difference? The game has been out for 6 years and a new alien race hasn’t been introduced, I’m sick and tired of another NEW kell of kell. I still know nothing about the traveler, I don’t even know what the hell it is why did it choose us, there is no back story to who the traveler is and it’s history with the darkness. The only thing we know is the darkness keeps chasing the traveler and boom that’s it’s. Playing in the DLC it isn’t about fighting the darkness it’s about fighting the same enemies with darkness powers, it’s just there. This DLC could’ve gave us so much back story as to how everything came to be and what the darkness and light is, but yet again we know nothing and it’s back to killing shitty dregs for 3 hours a day.

  6. Honestly the dlc isnt shadowkeep bad but it doesnt reach forsaken or taken king tier. The new environments are cool and stasis is also a nice addition. However I feel as if bungie shot themselves in the foot when releasing beyond light at the same time content vaulting began. By taking away four planets and five raids Beyond light was bound to be a bit underwhelming as it was the pseudo replacement for the leaving content. Upcoming content may change that but I do agree that having most of the exotics time gated was a bad call. What bungie should have done was revamp the the old destination armor and given each of the remaining destinations three new weapons. They could've also made a new quest for everyone to check in on the remaining planets. Regardless of the issues, beyond light is above shadow keep in my eyes but only time will tell if it truly is worth the forsaken price point…

  7. I think Beyond Light is boring and shows minimal effort. It lacks anything to make the game fun. It is nothing more than the same old wallet grind of triumphs to sell you shit, season pass to sell you shit if you cant play as much and exotic quests to sell you shit. On the second day of thinking about playing it I did not really want to play it. I was bored and hugely disappointed.

  8. I think I don't have the issues you have because I focus on the gameplay more than the story. The campaign was average but the story after that is pretty cool. It's some of the best in destiny with the stranger and Ana Bray. Stasis was very cool to use as well. Also I like that they have added some challenge to get the new exotics. My biggest issue with this game is the power and levelling grind. It's so repetitive and boring. They have attempted to make the mechanics harder so that it'll be hard even when you're over levelled but again power levels in this game are dumb as fuck. I wish they added a better system.

  9. Thanks for helping me decide to not get back into the game. I think I'm going to wait a long while and see where it goes. I haven't played since Season of the Forge, and this is really sad to see, as I felt Forsaken and the season pass following it were really exciting and brought new things to the game. All of the content I loved is gone. It really breaks my heart. I was going to bring my girlfriend into the game, but knowing that all of the original missions are gone, I just don't think it's worth bringing a new player into the game, and thus, dissuading me from even considering coming back.

  10. Aside from reviewing the DLC you pretty much summed up the state of Destiny 2 for the last couple of years in this video. Fucking horrendous. They don't listen to their community, we are telling them what is wrong with it and they keep bashing their heads against the same walls. With the bosses, the strikes, the loot, everything.

Furthermore, with this new DLC they pretty much also erased years of campaigns and loot that was available to New Light players, which is going to decline the overall game population and not bring any in.
