In 1:20 you mention it is possible to get one exotic engram by buying it from xur per week. With Beyond Light they introduced exotic ciphers for buying exotics at the archive. You can also use it to buy another exotic engram at xur per week. You got to do a quest (had to do 21 Strikes or Curcible wins last week) to get the exotic cipher.

See I grinded the nightfall all week and I got about 5 exotics and they were all the sparrow so is it not random or what
I got 3 exotics now from nightfall, only got armor that I already have. Shouldn’t it be stuff I don’t already have, and can it drop weapons too?
