What’s goin on Guardians? Just a quick video sharing some of my thoughts about Adept Weapons and Adept Mods, as well as the state of Trials of Osiris in Destiny 2 Beyond Light. A good step in the right direction, but a lot still needs to be done to help Trials get to where it should be. Stasis is Stasis, and it’s going to need some tuning passes to get in line with the rest of the subclasses.

  1. Gunwise I really like this sandbox. 120s feel super rewarding to use, pulses can shred, autos are still dangerous, 140s still seem just as popular as they were, scouts are actually dangerous on specific maps. Snipers don't feel nearly as oppressive, shotties still irk me, but overall I think this sandbox for guns is awesome.

Stasis is what it is. I think titans and hunters are overtuned with shatterdive and cryoclasm, behemoth is easily the best super in the game IMO, revenant's super is one of the best shutdown supers and amazing at area of control. Shadebinder is cheesy, but in trials I felt it only really punished players that were at my level or worse. The better players laughed at me using shadebinder as they quickly blitzed me and rocked my world.

I think for trials the issue is it's accessibility. It's current format only serves the top 1% and player population will drop to the 25-30k players it was last season after the excitement of it returning fades. I think seperating players who have gone flawless on the weekend should be seperated from players who have not. If they did that it would at least make the chance of going flawless somewhat plausible for more than the top 1%.
