They’re f***ing nuts. This video is my take with some gameplay on the new kings of versatility in the Crucible, 120rpm Hand Cannons.

Always wanted to try sniper
If only my baby, The First Curse were here to see this.
as an absolute fan of Fighting lion, i might point out that 110 hand cannons always were the most reliable cleanup and they just got much more usable at doing so. The blinting playstyle mitigates some of the downsides of longer ttk weapons like 180 rpm hand cannons also, so i'm eager to try this out more in practice.
I am subscribing to your channel – appreciate the crucible TIPS especially, the 2 second rule! KD improving!!
Waiting for HC's to get nerfed again in the range department. So true though. Got sniped by HC's when rocking High Impact Pulses and Snipers.
I’ve been using a True Prophecy with opening shot and explosive payload. It’s amazing in PvE and PvP
Tried a few 120s but ace of spades is my go to on pc, love the vids though plenty of explanation as always
I loved my True Prophecy with Rangefinder and Explosive rounds and now its even better ^^
It's too much. Hand cannons should never approximate range to scouts.
I'm loving my TP. Overflow with Explosive and Drop Mag. I get 18 bullets in the mag for walking over some special, and it also reloads anytime I get special. And the explosive is there to flinch any sniper or scout/pulse I'm trying to challenge.
What about the delayed explosion perk on a 120HC? Is that the flinch machine, and would that help at all for longer range engagements? Cause I have one… and I kinda wanna try it.
Great point on the recoil not matching the new rpm. I have a god roll Duke with Rico Rounds & Opening Shot and Max Stability and while I could hit 90s from across the map, it still felt like a mule on console FoV despite the stability. Couldn’t put my finger on it, but this definitely explains it.
Explosive payload and rangefinder
Xbox destiny player since d1 here, only recently started to try to make a jump in my crucible “quality” of playing.
Is a good idea to use a 120s to force myself in searching/learning better positioning or it is better the other way (try 120s only when i’ m more confident with my positioning)?
P.s. sorry for my not so perfect english, if it’ s not clear i can try to rephrase
The recoil on true prophecy throws me off a bit too much but Sturm seems far better in the recoil department for some reason
Yeah, chief, I'm just gonna go out and say that a well rolled bow can do everything a 120 can do but better.
I am a sniper only guy, and SUPER aggressive and I LOVE 120s why? Cuz I can challenge anything and everything
They still suck on console
I have a rangefinder + rampage roll with a stability masterwork and it absolutely claps – after the first kill I can 2 tap. Can't decide between targeting adjuster and the rampage duration weapon mods though
Awesome video! Thank you.
I can't tell you how happy I was when I got killed by a true prophecy over 7 times in one game. People are finally using it.
… And here I was with that roll sitting in my inventory in Crucible matches… Time to put down the dumb f*** juice.
can i just say i absolutely love your intros lol
Since start of Beyond Light's opening season I paired one of my two 1360 capped Crimil's Dagger's into the Crucible* (the other is PVE orientated but can also work in PvP).
Prior to this sandbox this was a nice weapon, but it was still hard to land my shots just right, and I often felt at a disadvantage in duels.

NOW, in THIS sandbox, I have NEVER felt so strong and confident using this Crimil's Dagger!
I started to do some research and, though I knew of the changes I wasn't expecting such a big sway in positive performance, I am glad that video's like yours explain thoughtfully why 120's feel so dominant. Aztecross and yourself nail my experiences, and I love using heavy handcannon's again, especially with the new Shotgun Energy exotic Duality!
Bravo on an excellent video, and subbed
*My PvP version has Outlaw and Opening Shot; the former is very nice but there are other perks I may have preferred, but the latter was a must of mine.
For the other perks I use Fastdraw HCS, which I prefer over Hitmark HCS, and Accurised Rounds over Flared Magwell.
I've been running Sturm/Drang with an empowering rift and Lunafactions in Comp. One-tapping snipers from a range that in all reasonability should not be possible is one of the most satisfying things in the game.
I have a really bad roll on true prophecy and it still feels very very good.
