The 30th anniversary dlc was disappointing
Bungo had the perfect opportunity to do a big ass crossover with halo as it’s 20th anniversary was pretty much at the same time

For the people saying Michael Salvatori needed to be let go, I have a counter argument:
How many no-name executives could that contribute less and get paid more than he ever would have working at Bungie could have been let go instead to equal or slightly surpass the cost savings of letting go not just him, but ALL the employees?

Hot take: Destiny has become more and more flavorless after they started up the main story of the series again. Both beyond light and light fall are going to be pointless dlcs after final shape is done.

Hot Take: Armour/weapon rarity and variety has lost all meaning. In early d1 exotics and legendary gear felt extremely rare and getting any sort of exotic piece was a major deal and a highlight in the game. These days almost every event gives you legendary gear and most exotics can just be acquired by grinding materials, taking away most of their prestige.
Hot take: Weapon crafting should remain the way it is
House of Wolves was actually really good despite being one of the mini DLCs. The fallen weapons were sick.
Seasons have made me tired because Bungie just keeps trying to add more and more and more themes instead of leaning into existing themes like they used to. GIVE ME MORE FALLEN AND HIVE SHIT AND NOT THAT SPLICER LOOKIN STUFF. Splice stuff isn't bad, though. I just want more OG Destiny themed stuff.

I'm torn about Salvatori. That was THE guy, not just for Destiny, but for Bungie as a whole. That being said, speaking as someone who regularly works and interacts with musicians, changing hands is not the end of the world. Bethesda and id Software dealt with this recently with Mick Gordon being dropped on Doom, but the guys they brought in to take his place killed it. I want to keep Salvatori, of course, but I wanna see what other musicians can cook, because I know there is a lot of talent out there that may never be revealed otherwise.
As much as Well of Radiance absolutely needs to receive some type/shape/form of change to tune it's power down, if the other supers aren't brought up in damage (ie nova bomb or chaos reach) bungie could nerf well so hard into the ground it would no longer stack with other damage buffs and it would STILL BE CONSIDERED THE STRONGEST SUPER WARLOCKS HAVE.
